The School Magazine Workshop 2010 is an annual event organised by the Customer Marketing Department of HELP University College with the support of the HELP Matriculation Centre (HMC).
The objective of the workshop is to provide hands on training to students who are members of the editorial board in their schools and also those involved in the production of school magazines and newsletters. The areas of training include news writing techniques, photography, graphic design, and sponsorships. Trainers are sourced from HELP University College and externally amongst industry practitioners.

This competition is organized by the Department of Business Studies and its Division of Accounting and Finance.
The objective of holding this competition include providing students in the fifth and sixth forms and those taking the Malaysian Chinese Secondary Schools Unified Examination (UEC) the opportunity to build and test their analytical skills and levels of competency in accounting, business and general knowledge.
The Annual National English Debate is back with more teams, a more challenging competition structure and definitely more attractive prizes.
HELP's National English Debate Competition provides students with the platform to better understand the English language and to learn to use it competently. Other beneficial aspects of the debate competition include mastering the skill of public speaking, gaining confidence in the presentation of facts, gaining experience and the ability to conduct research on topical issues and current affairs, enhancing thinking skills as well as appreciating the importance of time management.
