HELP-SAS Center for Data Mining was established on 9th August 2006. This center is a collaborative effort between HELP University College and SAS (Malaysia). The establishment of the center is part of the university's continuous efforts to prepare its students with relevant business knowledge and skills when they step out into the work environment. The center is focused on equipping students at HELP with “advance analytics”, a skill that is very necessary in the market today. Since the setup of the center, it has successfully trained two batches of students. The center aims to train more students who are interested in this area with the continuous support from SAS Malaysia, which provides licences, course materials and technical support at the centre.
